DID YOU KNOW... You can make your own heat balm!

Looking for a natural and easy alternative to ease sore muscles? Heat balm is perfect for treating a topical area and managing pain. It works by causing the area to heat up because making it turn numb. It is important to always try a small patch test before using extensively in case of a skin reaction and see your doctor if you have any ongoing issues or concerns.

  1. Heat 1/2 cup of coconut oil in a saucepan on a low heat until melted.

  2. Add 1.5 tbsp of cayenne pepper powder.

  3. Mix thoroughly for 5 minutes to combine.

  4. Pour into a jar and let cool and harden.

  5. Massage into skin when cooled (always try a small patch test first).
